Nankai University’s Ronghui Academy, based in the School of Finance and in the context of the new humanities development, is committed to breaking traditional professional college frameworks and leveraging interdisciplinary advantages. It aims to closely connect teachers and students from different disciplines by inviting renowned professors and industry experts from the School of Finance, School of Philosophy, School of History, Zhou Enlai School of Government, School of Law, School of Marxism, School of Computer Science, School of Cyber Security, School of Artificial Intelligence, School of Environmental Science and Engineering, School of Statistics and Data Science, School of Electronic Information and Optical Engineering, and School of Business to form the academy’s mentor team. The academy focuses on creating a multidimensional education model and a new “teacher-student community” to support students’ comprehensive development through various activities such as “Experience Disciplinary Development” lectures, “Meet the Mentor” sessions, academic and career development series lectures, “Face to Face with Alumni” theme salons, skill development and competitions, study exchanges, and social practice projects. Lecture Title:

Exploration of Trusted Behavioral Intelligence Technology in Medical Robotics

Speaker:

Yu Ningbo, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Artificial Intelligence, Nankai University, Nankai University Shenzhen Research Institute, and the International Advanced Research Institute. He is the Deputy Director of the Ministry of Education Engineering Research Center for Trusted Behavioral Intelligence Algorithms and Systems. His research focuses on medical robotics and artificial intelligence technology. Professor Yu has led over 10 research projects, including key topics in the National Key R&D Program and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and has conducted six registered clinical studies on diseases such as stroke, Parkinson’s, and chronic consciousness disorders. He serves as a director of the IEEE TEMS-SMD Committee on Intelligent Medical Digital Technology, a member of the Education Committee of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, and the deputy chairman of both the Tianjin Brain Injury and Stroke Rehabilitation Committee and the Rehabilitation Engineering Committee.
