Event Introduction:
The Master’s program in Climate Governance and Risk Management is an interdisciplinary program jointly offered by the Institute for Climate and Carbon Neutrality and the Business School of The University of Hong Kong. This program adopts an interdisciplinary approach, integrating elements of climate science, policy, economics, and business management. It aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of climate change, its impacts, and effective governance and risk management strategies.
As global attention to climate action increases, the demand for experts who can advise on policy making, develop risk management strategies, and lead climate resilience initiatives is also on the rise. Graduates with a Master’s degree in Climate Governance and Risk Management can pursue careers in government agencies, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, consulting firms, research institutions, and businesses dealing with climate change and sustainable development issues.
