On May 28 and 29, a delegation from Nankai University’s School of Finance, led by Associate Dean He Jia and including Li Yongquan, Zheng Guangming, and Guo Junru from the Jiangxi admissions team, conducted preliminary research for admissions promotion in Jiangxi Province. Accompanied by Liao Hanlu, President of the Nankai University Jiangxi Alumni Association, and Liao Cong, Secretary-General, the team visited five schools: Jiangxi Science and Technology University Affiliated High School, Nanchang No. 5 Middle School, Liantang No. 1 Middle School, Jiangxi Normal University Affiliated High School, and Nanchang No. 2 Middle School. They held discussions with the school leaders regarding undergraduate admissions at Nankai University.

At the meetings, He Jia expressed gratitude on behalf of the university for the long-standing support from the high schools in admissions work and provided a detailed introduction to the university’s history, academic programs, educational philosophy, and recent achievements. The school leaders acknowledged Nankai University’s rich history and strong academic disciplines, recognizing it as a highly sought-after institution. Both parties engaged in enthusiastic discussions on various aspects of admissions promotion and reached a consensus on how high schools and universities can collaborate at different stages of talent development.

At Liantang No. 1 Middle School, He Jia delivered an admissions presentation to the students and teachers of the second year of high school. He reviewed the development history of Nankai University over the past century, highlighted the university’s achievements and notable alumni, and provided detailed information on the university’s strong academic disciplines, distinctive educational characteristics, and student-centered philosophy. Following the presentation, He Jia patiently answered questions from the students and encouraged them to study diligently and consider applying to Nankai University.

In addition, He Jia briefly introduced the performance of several recent Nankai University students from Jiangxi Province during their time at the university. He expressed hope for continued cooperation with Jiangxi high schools and for exploring and enhancing a comprehensive cooperation system between higher education institutions and local schools.
