On the evening of September 28, 2023, the New Movement, Golden Sail Orientation Evening Party for the 2023 Batch of the School of Finance was successfully held in the small concert hall in the Datong Student Activity Center. Du Yujin, deputy secretary and vice president of the School of Finance, Tang Lin, Hao Ren, Zhu Zhixin, counselors and nearly 300 freshmen attended.

At the beginning of the evening party, Du Yujin went on stage to make an opening speech, expressed his thanks to all the actors and actresses of the orientation evening party, and wished all the teachers and students a happy Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day.

The evening party was hosted by four students: Si Xuanyu, Yang Haoran, Ye Tianqin and Zhao Xinyi. The opening performance of Orange in the Purple Night brought by Lin Jingqi and Qian Yiyi instantly warmed up the audience with dynamic beats, and the dance was full of youthful vigor. Afterwards, six students, Luo Yuge, Lin Xinqi, Zhong Ruiqi, Wang Andi, Shi Ruonan and Quan Xiaoci, expressed their attitude of I want to keep my feet on the ground when walking on my own path with the dance I AM.

The rap song Old Silver, performed by Yuan Yuhan and Wang Guanjin, showed a youthful and exciting vibe. The integration of popular elements became a highlight of the orientation evening party. Qian Yiyi and other students performed I’m an Queencard with powerful songs and dances, which lit up the atmosphere.

Meng Yuyang's Find My Spirit and Chen Jieyi's Beauty Pass appeared in turn, with modern and classical colliding in a marvelous spark. Liu Kehan and Zhang Huiyi sang It's a Mother, It's a Daughter, which transformed the message of love from mothers and daughters into a heartfelt confession, triggering a warm applause from the audience.

In the middle of the evening party, the interactive session of “Listening to Songs and Recognizing Songs” broke the boundaries between on-stage and off-stage. The on-site audience actively participated in the activity, which pushed the evening party into a new climax.

In the second half of the evening party, the publicity group of School of Finance brought the audience a poem recitation Voice of Youth & Set Sail, and together they made a wish for a better future.

Transmitting the true feelings, what is love brought by Quan Xiaoci and other students depicted the beautiful perception of love; Luo Yuhan's song The wind rises when I miss you expressed the longing for distant relatives.

Cheng Xiaoyun's Dai dance Bamboo Splashing was beautiful as the dancer danced in the shadow and in the wind with her skirts fluttering; Wang Ning's singing with guitar Chengdu was filled with deep emotion, precipitateing memories and arousing recollections.

Dou Kairan and Tian Jinyu sang the song Twenty-two together, writing down the most sincere dialogue about youth. The audience waved fluorescent sticks and flashing lights, making the atmosphere even more enthusiastic. The last program of the evening, the dance Blame brought by Fashion Street Dance Club, let the audience appreciate the unique charm of the collision of styles, through the form of choreography.

New Movement, Golden Sail. The orientation evening party came to an end in a warm applause. This activity shows the high spirit of financial students, and the School of Finance will organize more exciting activities in the future to help students of finance write a more brilliant chapter of youth.
