Call for Papers for the 2nd China Financial Frontier Academic Forum


After the 14th Five-Year Plan has achieved a good start, stability is the most prominent keyword of the Central Economic Work Conference at the end of 2021. How to focus on stability and make progress on the premise of maintaining overall stability has become the focus of economic work in 2022. In the face of complex and ever-changing new situations and new challenges, based on the country's current national conditions and development practices, how to further exert the basic resource allocation and risk management functions of the financial system, enhance the ability to serve the real economy; improve financial market competitiveness and risk absorption capacities, enhance financial management, and ensure the stable and healthy operation of the financial system is an important issue to promote the country's economy and use finance to boost high-quality development.

In order to promote the research on the frontier issues of China's finance and provide opportunities for academic interaction and cooperation for young and middle-aged scholars, with the support of the editorial department of Management World, the Second China Financial Frontier Academic Forum hosted by Nankai University School of Finance is scheduled to be held in Tianjin on August 20, 2022, jointly sponsored by the Guanghua School of Management of Peking University and the School of Finance of Nankai University. The forum is planned to be held in the form of an online + offline meeting, and the specific arrangement depends on the requirements of epidemic prevention and control.

II. Contents of the essay

Focusing on the theme of Frontier Academic Issues in China's Finance, this forum openly solicits relevant research papers. Specific research issues include but are not limited to:

i. Financial openness and financial stability;

ii. Systemic risks and their prevention;

iii. Carbon neutrality, ESG and green finance;

iv. Digital finance;

v. Asset pricing;

vi. Corporate finance;

vii. Financial markets and financial intermediaries;

viii. Financial regulation and economic development.

III. Call for papers

i. Submissions must be unpublished original papers, formatted in strict accordance with the style requirements of Management World magazine. For the format and style of the paper, please refer to the Submission Instructions of the Management World website.

IV. Selection of Excellent Papers

The review committee will select outstanding papers in the report papers and recommend them to Management World for review. Those who meet the requirements will be given priority for publication.
