Nankai University School of Finance Faculty Position in Finance

(Tenured/Tenure-Track)

The School of Finance at Nankai University, Tianjin, China, invites applications for tenured/tenure-track faculty positions at all levels in the fields of finance, accounting, digital finance, insurance, risk management, financial engineering, actuarial science, theoretical and applied econometrics, and other interrelated subjects in economics, statistics, and management beginning Fall 2023. Applicants in other intersecting fields are also welcomed. We particularly welcome candidates motivated by the unique opportunity to build a world-class finance school in a leading Chinese university. 

Appointment rank (assistant or associate) will be dependent on qualifications and research history.  Qualified candidates for tenure-track positions must hold a Ph.D. in finance, economics or related fields conferred by employment start date, have excellent research and teaching skills, and demonstrate the ability to produce scholarly work at a high level.  

Requirements for applicants applying for a senior tenure-track appointment include a Ph.D. in finance, economics or related fields, publications in top-tier, refereed journals and evidence of teaching excellence. 

About School of Finance:

The School of Finance consists of a group of faculty members who obtained their Ph.D. from the world’s top universities who are actively publishing in the top finance and economics journals, such as The Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis and Management Science.  The group has varied interests across all areas of theoretical and empirical finance and economics, including asset pricing, corporate finance, financial econometrics, financial intermediation, management, accounting, household finance, international finance, macro-finance, behavioral finance and market microstructure.
