On January 31, just as the 2022 Chinese New Year was approaching, the School of Finance organized a meeting with students who were unable to return to their hometowns due to the Omicron epidemic and other reasons. Han Xu, secretary of the party committee of the college, Fan Xiaoyun, executive vice president, Ji Fang, deputy secretary of the party committee and vice president, Liu Lanbiao, vice president, Liu Wei, counselor and class tutor representatives visited the college and student dormitory one by one, sending New Year gift bags and blessings to the 96 students.

Han Xu said that at the moment of the epidemic, the University had overcome the difficulties together, and every Nankai person's efforts were worthy of applause. Han Xu extended New Year greetings to every student who stayed at the school and to the family who silently supported and persevered behind. He wished everyone good health and academic success in the new year. At the same time, he asked everyone to continue to implement the requirements of epidemic prevention and do a good job in study and scientific research. He also encouraged everyone present to pay attention to the balance of work and rest, and look forward to gathering in Nankai Park again in Spring.
