On December 17, the selection and commendation meeting of democratic parties, the Federation of industry and Commerce and personages without party affiliation for their contributions to building a well-off society in an all-round way was held in Beijing. Wang Yang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, attended and delivered a speech. Suggestions on providing better financial services for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises jointly written by Fan Xiaoyun and Wang Bo, professors at the school of finance in Nankai University, was submitted by the Tianjin Municipal Committee of the China Democratic Progressive Association and was rated as an excellent achievement of suggestions.
