In order to further promote the learning and education on the history of the Communist Party of China and focus on strengthening the ideal, belief and patriotism of new teachers, the School of Finance, Nankai, recently organized new teachers and management cadres to visit the Patriotism Education Base of Balitai Campus and the Memorial Hall of Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao. There were also participants who are Members of the Party committee of the school.

Along the patriotic education route of Balitai Campus, the teachers visited the exhibition of one-hundred-years history of Nankai University, Memorial Park of Yan Xiu and Zhang Boling, Siyuan Hall, former residence of Chen Shianxin, Statue of premier Zhou Enlai, the Monument of The National South-west Associated University and so on. Han Xu, Party Secretary of the School of Finance, explained in detail to the teachers at each place. Through the vivid patriotic figures and struggle stories in the history of Nankai University, the young teachers got a clearer understanding of the magnificent centennial development history of Nankai University and profound background of the patriotic struggle.

In The Memorial hall of Zhou Enlai, the guide led the teachers to visit the exhibition of Zhou Enlai's life "Premier Zhou Enlai", the special exhibition of Deng Yingchao "Deng Yingchao -- Pioneer of the Chinese Women's Movement in the 20th Century" and the special exhibition in the West Flower Hall. The teachers of Party members reviewed their pledge of joining the Party in front of the statue of Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao..

The young teachers all expressed that the visit had enabled them to have a deeper understanding of the century-old patriotic struggle of Nankai University and  the great achievements made by Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao for the national independence and prosperity and the happiness of the people. They expressed that as the people's teachers of the new era, they must uphold the Nankai motto of "public and ability", carry forward the patriotic tradition of Nankai, stick to the original intention of educating people, and practice the responsibilities and missions of university teachers with actions.

The School of Finance always attaches great importance to the construction of ideological and political education and ethics of being teachers. By organizing related activities including special guidance reports, seminars, themed Party Day activities, teaching observation and forums for young scholars, the school helps new teachers to comprehensively improve their political quality, professional ability and educational level.
